Steve Zbur, P.G. - President - Mr. Zbur has been practicing environmental consulting since the dark ages in 1985. Mr. Zbur has a BS in Geology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is licensed to practice geology in Pa, N.C., S.C. and Virginia.


Tom Rebar, Licensed Remediation Specialist -  Mr. Rebar has over fifteen years of experience as an environmental consultant working with petroleum industry clients in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the surrounding states, including nine years as a WV Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS). Mr. Rebar currently manages CORE’s West Virginia office and staff, and is the primary contact for clients and regulatory agencies on projects he manages in West Virginia and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Rebar’s professional experience includes acting as the LRS on Projects in West Virginia’s Voluntary Remediation and Redevelopment Program (VRRP), and Uniform Environmental Covenant Act (UECA) program, including retail petroleum sites, former glass plants, and former bulk petroleum plants with multiple contaminant sources.

Jeffrey Holmes, P.E. - Operations Manager, Allison Park, PA. - Mr. Holmes is responsible for managing environmental contamination assessment projects, RCRA permitting projects, air permitting projects, discharge permitting projects (NPDES, stormwater and POTW), compliance auditing projects for industrial clients, development and preparation of various types of pollution prevention plans, RCRA and solid waste closure plan preparation and management and certification of RCRA and solid waste closures and similar construction related projects. 


Matt Ford, LRS - Senior Consultant - Mr. Ford serves as a senior consultant for CORE Environmental Services, Inc. with over six years of experience working with federal, state, municipal, and private-sector clients in West Virginia and the surrounding states.  Mr. Ford currently manages CORE’s southern West Virginia office near Beckley, West Virginia.   He is a WV Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS) with extensive project level management and field experience.  Mr. Ford has a MS in Environmental Science from Marshall University and a BS in Biology from West Virginia University.


Nick Rebar, Project Manager - Mr. Rebar brings more than seven years of hands-on experience to his roll as CORE’s latest addition to the management staff.  Mr. Rebar has experience in groundwater and soil sampling,  groundwater remediation system installations and contaminated soil excavations.  Mr. Rebar has continually developed his approach to his work, providing a strong work ethic, and diligent, timely client service.


Peter Libell, Senior Environmental Specialist - Mr. Libell has been working for CORE for 6 years.  He has a strong background in construction with an additional ten years past experience as a commerical and industrial Construction Superintendent.


Pamela Kidd, Senior Environmental Specialist - Ms. Kidd has been working in the environmental consulting industry for eight years.  She has experience in groundwater and soil sampling, contaminated soil excavations, and soil vapor sampling in association with petroleum facility remediation, as well as erosion and sediment control permitting and site inspection coordination for natural gas well developments. Ms. Kidd has a Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) degree from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geology from Allegheny College .


Brandon D. Verba, Staff Scientist - Mr. Verba has over six years experience in environmental coordination, supervision, industrial compliance; and management, maintenance and presentation of data using AutoCAD and geographic information systems (GIS) applications. He has also supervised field programs which included installation of monitoring wells, overseeing soil excavations, and collecting soil and ground water samples for analysis.  


Brandon Novogradac, Staff Scientist - Mr. Novogradac has worked out of both the WV and PA offices, and his field experience includes collecting water and soil samples, installing wells, and overseeing excavations.


Alison Antisz, Staff Scientist - Alison is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy, Institutions and Behavior and a Bachelor of Arts in Planning and Public Policy. She has experience working for the USDA and NJDEP, and has worked as an environmental remediation field technician. Alison is passionate about the outdoors and the environment.   


Brian Liptock, Field Technician - Mr. Liptock has experience with field programs including installation of monitoring wells, shooting top of casing elevations, overseeing excavations, and collecting soil and ground water samples for analysis.


Terri Morris, Information Technology/Accounting/Heath & Safety - Mrs. Morris has over 15 years of experience in office management, client billing, accounts receivable/payable, software training and computer networks.  She prepares client reimbursement submittals for the PA Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund Administration (USTIF), the WV Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) and the OH Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Release Compensation Board (PUSTRCB).  Mrs. Morris also currently serves as CORE's Internal Health & Safety Officer.


Sandy Zbur, Human Resources/Accounting  - Mrs. Zbur has been with CORE for 6 years in Human Resources and Accounting.  Her varied duties consist of Employee Benefits, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing.


Renee Sweeney, Office Manager - Ms. Sweeney has been with CORE since 2004 and assists with projects throughout all departments.  She is the Office Manager for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.


Ashley Spindler, Project Manager Assistant - Ms. Spindler is a Project Manager Assistant for the West Virginia office. Aside from her daily activities she assists with accounts receivable doing invoice follow-up with clients, entering vendor invoices and posting client payments.
